AC Milan crazy after Italian Gavi
AC Milan scouts are deeply impressed by Tommaso Berti. The defensive midfielder is considered the Italian Gavi.
In Spain, fans are admiring the exploits of the young duo Pedri and Gavi. Despite being just 17 and 18-year-olds, the two midfield talents are regular starters with Barcelona and already part of the Spanish national team.
Pedri made shockwaves last season while Gavi is following his footsteps. He guided Spain’s midfield in Nations League finals offering an excellent performance against Italy. Meanwhile, the situation in Italy remains completely different with very little faith given to young players.
Only one player born in 2004 plays regular football in Italy and his name is Tommaso Berti. The 17-year-old elegant defensive midfielder plays in Serie C with Cesena and is already attracting the attention of important clubs with his performances including AC Milan.
Journalist Nicolo Schira reports that AC Milan are very impressed with Tommaso Berti. Rossoneri scouts have followed the young Berti on several occasions.
Berti plays primarily as defensive midfielder but is a versatile player that can also be deployed as central or attacking midfielder. The young Cesena gem has made 10 appearances so far. AC Milan are always very attentive on young talents with great potential and head scout Moncada is following a number of interesting players.
